When it comes to transforming a plain ol’ space from conventional to spectacular, Jes is a projection-mapping, multimedia designing, producing powerhouse. At AOA, her passion for creating immersive experiences coupled with her background in animation makes for a transfiguration professional adept in revolutionizing old spaces into something entirely new.
In the midst of her immersive experience metamorphoses with AOA, Jes has proved herself to be a pioneer of projection mapping, motion graphics, and all things virtual events. She has worked closely with Panasonic's Hollywood Laboratory to provide research and development testing for projectors; she’s even projection mapped a featured wall in their space by creating custom 3D and 2D media content. Jes has also created animations and media for The Walt Disney Company, design development packages for One Vanderbilt in New York City, and attractions abroad in Saudi Arabia; this AOA teammate is a mover and a shaker in the world of digital design, making her an important part of any up-and-coming experience.
Her custom media experience has also allowed her to branch out beyond the stars. At a special event at the Kennedy Space Station, Jes had the opportunity to create custom media for Yuri's Night, resulting in the first ever projection mapping project for the Atlantis space shuttle. Additionally, Jes holds the 2018 Best of Show title at Digital Graffiti for her unique ability to marry real-life architecture to digital art. And as the icing on that graffiti-based cake, Jes has also previously acted as an Artist in Residence for the same organization, making her a familiar face in the world of the innovative digital media world.
And as far as the animation lifecycle, Jes does a little bit of it all: concept design, video creation, filming, and projection mapping for various projects. For Jes, transmutation is just one part of the AOA game.
