Disney’s Dynamic Art Display

Disney’s Dynamic Art Installation at the Hollywood Plaza Parking Garage on International Drive is a new larger-than-life, outdoor art display showcasing popular Disney characters and attractions in a massive, rippling LED screen, boasting 3,741,696 pixels.

The screen is the 41st largest LED screen in the world and is in the Top 10 non-sports screens in the United States. It weighs approximately as much as ten African bush elephants and is powered by nearly 2,000 individual cables, all ranging from 9 to 21 feet in length and custom painted to match the existing building’s facade. AOA helped manage the project’s development from inception to completion. Our team provided show set design, architectural and structural design, and MEP support services during the project’s design and development stages. On site, we performed construction services and administrations, site supervision, safety supervision, and paint support. These efforts were led by our project management team who liaised directly with both the owner and general contractor throughout the project life cycle.
