FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION
Whether it be developing an idea from concept sketch to shop drawings or installing a finished product, our fabrication team possesses the tools and knowledge to make your dreams into reality. Our fabricators can bridge the gap between the “Blue Sky” idea and final product, employing a wide skillset that includes carpentry, molding, casting, procurement, and modification of a variety of materials and methods. Taking a concept from design and straight into our workshop allows for a lean fabrication pipeline and client transparency throughout the development life cycle. Shop drawings and technical documentation both ensure an efficient fabrication workflow and contribute to product longevity. This one-stop-shop approach allows our fabricators to think about production feasibility early on, providing insight into the design process that allows for a smooth and easily installed project execution. Our team uses 3D printing tools, molding and casting processes, and a unique blend of skills specific to metals, fabrics, plastics, and wood to bring props, set dressing, and faux finishes and textures to life. The same team that translates creative intent into fabrication drawings and uses an assortment of techniques to make things real also installs, tests, adjusts, and finishes our completed work on site for your experience. The aesthetic direction established during the concept design phase of a project must be brought to life in real, close-up, and tangible detail for your guests to experience. Every light fixture, doorknob, chair, rock, wall, and countless other elements must all make visual sense in the context of your experience. Art directors shepherd creative intent for both painted and produced elements through designs and samples to fabrication and final installation. Art directors work alongside vendors in their production shops, with scenic paint teams on project sites, and in tandem with prop procurement and modification teams. Every element is carefully refined and adjusted to ensure the narrative developed during the earliest phases of a project is carefully translated into environmental reality by our detail-oriented art directors.
