Safety and Code Compliance
Our construction superintendents maintain rigorous safety standards on all construction sites and diligently review code compliance to ensure quality delivery from all involved contractors.
Safety is our construction team’s number one commitment. All of our field superintendents are extensively trained in site safety requirements and consistently uphold best practices across all projects. We want to make sure that everyone, from contractors to owners to site visitors, returns home safely each and every day. Simultaneously, the team ensures code compliance, reviewing any issues and managing mitigation strategies. We coordinate with regulatory agencies, ensure that projects comply with all codes and regulations prior to opening, and manage materials and soils testing programs. Each of our superintendents have vast experience in a variety of different fields, and they bring their knowledge and experience to each project to evaluate construction efforts for quality and compliance. This commitment to quality and safety ensures long-term protection for the eventual guests and operational staff that will populate the completed project.
Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Our construction team’s primary role is evaluating construction efforts for quality and adherence to applicable standards. We maintain high standards for quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC), representing the owner’s interests throughout a project’s construction lifecycle. Separating the people who maintain quality standards and those who control schedules and budgets make sure that corners are not cut during the construction process. It is crucial that all facility, show set, and other built components are executed to exact specifications to allow for a show readiness and a seamless final product. Quality assurance is defined by the proactive processes that are established before construction efforts commence, while quality control is the inspection and testing of finished product before acceptance. Our team has a combined portfolio of hundreds of projects and centuries of experience in maintaining exceptional quality assurance and quality control for themed entertainment, hospitality, and other uniquely complex projects.
Reports and Schedules
Our commitment to timely project delivery is rooted in leveraging expertise to identify issues before they cause significant delays. On a routine basis, we analyze the construction schedule to identify any delay claims from the contractors and implement recovery plans to maintain the planned opening date should the need arise. We maintain daily coordination between the general contractor, operational staff, maintenance and security staff, and other partners, during both refurbishments and new construction projects. This open reporting and communication extends to on-site deliveries, site tours for visitors, and comprehensive photo documentation throughout a project’s development and milestones.
Post-Construction Support
Our team will ensure meeting or exceeding our client’s interests through each process. We compile and manage a master punch list, organize warranty coverage documentation, and ensure that all project commitments and objectives are satisfied. We will prepare and conduct final closeout on all project commitments and help establish procedures for all routine maintenance and warranty issues. This includes gathering and archiving all appropriate testing and inspection reports and coordinating owner training for complex systems.
